Nacho Blog 3: The Botana

Friends were in the neighborhood which led to an impromptu lunch, which led to me ordering without so much as a glance at the menu. Steak nachos and a cold Pacifico. The Botana is usually pretty empty and we were one of three tables there. The nachos were simple, cheap, gooey. At $8 (I think this is a happy hour price, the menu lists $10) it's a deal for what amounts to so good low-brow bar food. Nachos can be high concept or too minimalistic, but there find a sweet spot of being cost effective and filling. I'm going with a solid 8 on this one.
